Surgical mode of CO₂ LASER is used commonly to remove skin lesions like warts, skin tags, moles, birthmarks, keloids, etc. A single beam of LASER is targeted on the lesion destroying it.

Main advantage of a LASER surgery is a bloodless surgery with no contact with the instrument and hence avoiding any chances of infection.
